Hi, I'm Lisha.

I'm a Strategy & Operations leader in technology and AI who spent decades building the operational foundations that let high-growth companies actually execute.

The Work That Matters

I believe AI is the most significant lever for human progress we've seen in generations — and that its impact will be determined less by the technology itself than by how thoughtfully we deploy it. The models exist. The harder work is building the organizations, systems, and ways of working that let AI translate into outcomes that actually matter.

That's the problem I want to spend the next chapter solving. Not AI for efficiency's sake, but AI aimed at the hardest challenges — in healthcare, in scientific discovery, in the institutions that shape how people live. The opportunity to compress decades of progress into years, to extend what a single person or team can accomplish, feels genuinely historic. I want to be in the middle of it.

My background — across engineering, strategy, and operations — is the toolkit I'm bringing to that work. The goal is impact at a scale that wouldn't have been possible before.

About me

I'm someone who gets genuinely restless when things feel too settled. Professionally, that's meant deliberately crossing between worlds that don't usually talk to each other — engineering and strategy, consulting and operations, life sciences and AI. Each move was a choice to expand, to trade the comfort of expertise for the discomfort of being new again. I've found that the most interesting work almost always happens at the edges, where disciplines collide and the old answers stop working.

The same instinct shows up outside of work. I'll spend a weekend trying to reverse-engineer a dish I had somewhere and can't stop thinking about. I drag my kids to corners of New York that most people walk past without noticing — a tiny museum in a neighborhood we've never been to, a market, a park that turns out to be extraordinary. The city keeps rewarding that kind of curiosity, which is why I love it.

Born in Beijing, raised in Canada, and firmly rooted in New York — each chapter was a leap into the unfamiliar, and each one was worth it. If there's a thread connecting all of it, it's this: I've never found the unknown particularly scary. If anything, it's where I feel most alive. There's always another dish to attempt, another neighborhood to get lost in, another problem no one's quite solved yet. I'm looking forward to all of it.
